Rebecca is a crochet designer based in Abergavenny. She creates accessories such as hats, scarves, shawls and mittens and also produces her own range of original patterns. Her designs are contemporary but have timeless appeal.
Sustainability is important to Rebecca and influences all aspects of her work. She sources most of her materials locally and likes to use rare breed wool in her designs. She also enjoys working with Alpaca yarn and has developed a range of patterns that complement this luxurious yarn.
Having previously worked in Archaeology and Archives, Rebecca retains a deep interest in the past and a passion for ancient fibre arts. As well as crochet, Rebecca spins and dyes yarn naturally using traditional dyestuffs such as madder and weld.
