Welsh Farm House Apple Juice
John and Margaret have been making apple juice for the past couple of years.
In addition to their family farm business, they specialise in local, organic apple juice with apples from family orchards, some of which were planted by John’s Grandfather in the 1920’s. They pride themselves in juicing quality apples, mostly rare varieties, from tree to bottle within 24 hours, capturing the freshness and intense flavour.
John and Margaret offer around 30 different single variety apple juices, for example, Tom Putt, Grenadier and Monmouth Green varieties produce unique flavours of apple juice which allows them to produce a complete range of juices that vary from dry through to sweet. They also produce an organic blend of medium sweet apple juice which is very popular with pubs and cafes.
In addition to the single variety organic juice a small percentage of juice is made from ‘apples sourced from local orchards grown under natural conditions without the use of herbicides or pesticides. This juice has a separate label and this provides a sustainable way of utilising the apples from small orchards which might otherwise be left to rot.
